"LiEr of ikat bag constructed this amazing play sculpture in honor of National Reading Month. She and her daughters fell in love with Enid Blyton's The Enchanted Wood trilogy so, with cardboard, LiEr set out to bring the fictional world to life. The entire tree is almost 3 feet tall and has toilet paper tube chutes down that allow its tiny inhabitants to zoom from the top all the way down to the forest floor. And, yes, that's a crank handle at the top to allow them to be pulled back up again in a tiny cardboard basket." Ohdeedoh

Wow. Love these XYZ Alphabet Blocks, especially the trailer and uvula ones! The illustrations are colorful, and they remind me of illustrations from the 50's or 60's (my favorite design period for everything from furniture to men's ties, to architecture!). Plus they make me giggle. Then, when they are available they will only be $29.99 (I picked up a small stuffed animal at a toy store this weekend that was over $50! seriously.).
