That's an Old Morsel.

I'll be out of state (and most likely away from interwebs) celebrating my grandpa's 97th birthday until next Tuesday!

Picturesque Stairs.

This colorful staircase is made out of 600 meters of picture frames by Stuart Haygarth. While I may find this pleasant to look out I cannot help but think "but you can't hold the hand rails!" So thanks 'Giant Oil Company' that used to employ me for always drilling (ha drilling...) into my head "Safety First!" and what does 'Giant Oil Company' believe is the number one safety rule? ALWAYS HOLD THE HAND RAILS!!! but despite this I still would love to trip down these colorful stairs.

A Morsels for the Aggies.

Brassiere hung on Academic Building in 1973 from TAMU College of Architecture on Vimeo.

It is so weird to see glimpses of places I walked by nearly every day for 4.5 years looking pretty much the same 30+ years before I was there. Only then, there were a lot more bell-bottoms wandering around.
I love this school.
Thanks and Gig'em.

You Sexy Bench.

This bench is like a sexy nerd. Honestly though I want it as a table. Couldn't you see this beauty by Raw Edges as a coffee table or dining room table? rar. (you should click on their name and check out their other projects)

Plaid Bench is constructed of 3 separate benches (one plywood painted white, one pine painted in a mix of blues and yellow, and one hardwood) that interlock to create a pattern of stripes.

A Morsel from Space.

Homemade Spacecraft from Luke Geissbuhler on Vimeo.

"How cool is this family? And who just thinks: "I'm going to send some stuff to space."-- "NO, it will freeze!"-- "Nah! We will just throw some pocket handwarmers in the craft and it will be fine." I love how simple and matter of fact their approach to everything is. Think about how their kids view "space" now compared to the kids that grew up watching the shuttle program roll out. AND It was refreshing to see a father do something with his kids and a weather balloon that wasn't desperate and creepy."

I Prefer My Babies Roasted.

Aww look at the cute little peanut!
urr.. peanut birth looks way more horrifying than human birth. Do peanuts poop peanut butter?

Sit Down for a Spell.

Hopefully Roeland Otten's goals for his ABChairs will soon be reached and he will find a producer to manufacture them (in plastic verses the lacquered MDF currently available in limited editions upon request). Then I can get my hands on some! Question is, what would I spell?

Be Healthy, Be Creative.

I'm pretty sure every gym and rec center should have at least one of these machines. I know I want to ride it.
