Trouble.

Dear supposedly-bearded man in the sky, if I ever bring a person into the world that does this to me I refuse to be held responsible for my actions.

Body Garden.

Check out this sweet wearable plant I found on HAF!

"a clash of jewelry and gardening; couture and organism."

I first saw the idea of "Living Jewelry" on etsy a few months back BWM (Before Web Morsles), and my green thumb is itching to own one of these fellas, especially the top left pic (a scary 150 Euros) and the terrarium below (by Hollyrocks for only $10).

Growing Old Is Not So Bad.

These two delights give me the happies. I guess there are good things involved with getting older (like choreographed impromptu piano performances that contains little love pats on the tushes).

More Productive Than All My 4.5 Years Put Together.

Watching this video makes me equally envious of and thankful I did not become [an] environmental design/architecture major.

This is a video made by students from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London to exhibit their academic experience over their first year. It is okay to feel scared and awed when thinking about how these students minds work (and thanks to my handy teacher classes I know they have 'spacial intelligence').

This kid is stinkin' cute with his tiny bike that doesn't have pedals.

A much better idea than the pointless (in my opinion) wedding guest book!

Pimple Free School Photos.

You need to go check out this: Traditional School Portraits with a Twist.
After two photographers,Samantha Harvey and Anna Brooks were told by the head teacher that they could only photograph one child and only the back of that child's head, they responded with Class Portraits.
Although I don't have any of the photos to show you (because I don't have permission but you can find them by clicking any link in this post) I like what they have done because A. I am getting my teacher's certification, B. I love photography, and C. it makes me smile and ponder.
"The ethical issues and paranoia surrounding the laws of photographing children in today’s society are confusing and – some would say – farcical,” says Brooks in a statement. We hope people will be amused by the pictures,” adds Harvey. But we also wanted to challenge people and ask at what point will the photography of children be completely forbidden?"British Journal of Photography

MINE!

This product rocks, and it does because it is based on one of my favorite picture books, Bossy Bear. This jewel of a book is by the co-creator of Uglydolls David Horvath, and if you have never heard of Uglydolls or Bossy Bear then you NEED to check them out (notice I did not say 'should').
"The drive comes in 1GB to 8GB capacities, and is bundled with Bossy Bear-themed wallpapers, icons, avatars, screensavers, and Mimoco’s mimoByte™ sound software."

Executive Sand Castles

With this little treasure you can play in the sand all day long! Whether you're a CEO or a secretary A Day at the Beach Executive Sandbox allows you to pretend to escape to the tiny beach at your finger tips (go ahead a scoot your water bottle closer and slosh it around to make some waves!).

J is for Jackalope.

Wow. Love these XYZ Alphabet Blocks, especially the trailer and uvula ones! The illustrations are colorful, and they remind me of illustrations from the 50's or 60's (my favorite design period for everything from furniture to men's ties, to architecture!). Plus they make me giggle. Then, when they are available they will only be $29.99 (I picked up a small stuffed animal at a toy store this weekend that was over $50! seriously.).

Hold It Right There.

Every night I turn away from my lamp after moving it so the base hangs half off the night stand and the bulb hides behind my pillow. Then, despite my adjustments I still end up blinded by the light (feel free to start singing). Viola! Well almost viola... If Thomas Feichtner would design a bedside lamp like these sexy little minimalist drawing lamps (that was a lot of descriptive words, not very minimalist of me eh?) then my bedtime reading woes would be gone!
Feichtner's simple design allows you to focus the LED light right where you need it just by tilting it into a more horizontal position. The design is perfect for people that love to draw and/or do it for a living (plus it reminds me of a bird!).

Cup Nom Nom.

Have you ever finished off a refreshing beverage and still felt the urge to engage your mouth in an activity? Well now, instead of drooling on glass, gnawing on plastic, or leaving teeth marks in Styrofoam you can actually eat these cups by Jelloware!
"The cups are made entirely out of agar agar and cast in different flavors, such as lemon-basil, ginger-mint, or rosemary-beet, each specifically designed to compliment a corresponding drink. Jelloware is meant to be thrown into the grass after it is used, as agar agar is a seaweed extract and actually nurtures the growth of plants." The Way We See The World
