Graphic Nudity.

During my almost daily perusal of Offbeat Bride I saw the above amazingly interactive 8 bit wedding invite and the below blissfully Naked Fruit save the date! (which I visit not because of an obsession over weddings but because I am addicted to offbeat stuff!) If you pull the ribbon on the rad Nintendo invitation a little 8 bit bride and groom pop out of the pipe! Wowza.

I would love to see my friends and family receive this save the date! Majority of them would be scandalized... which i kinda love.

Flower Alternative

nuala's flowers
Thanks to Princess Lasertron and her feltastic flowers I was able to finally create a beautiful flower for my clutch (pictured last)! I saw this photo on Offbeat Bride and fell a tidbit in love. You can have her make all your wedding flowers (bouquets and corsages) or you can buy a bouquet kit here for $130 and make it yourself.

bridesmaids bouquets for abby
This is another bouquet she made for somone's bridesmaid!

fact: this flower is the only part of this clutch that didn't make me want to shave my head and let someone poke it with my multicolored stick pins

Photo Calendar.

Check out this photastic DIY wall calender I found at photojojo.

The step by step directions (found here) include sweet little tips like this:
"For sheer indestructibility, you can laminate your photos. Nothing but the Dark Side of the Force will ever be able to harm them and they’ll pretty much last forever."

or this:
While their position in the calendar will shift throughout the year, these numbers will always line up on top of each other in a column.

* 1/8/15/22
* 2/9/16/23
* 3/10/17/24
* 4/11/18/25
* 5/12/19/26
* 6/13/20/27
* 7/14/21/28

(and if you laminate your photos you can write directly on them with dry erase markers instead of using sticky notes! or even use instant photos that don't need an extra lamination)
I can't wait to search for some numbers for my own calendar!
