A Morsel of Hair Love.

I am really proud of Sesame Street for this one. Such an empowering message for all ages, races, cultures, genders, colors, sizes, lefties/righties/ambidesxties...
Click here to watch the ABC News video about Sesame Street's latest puppet.

It breaks my heart that little girls are wondering why they don't have "good hair." Hopefully images like this adorable puppet will continue to appear and change what defines "good." I mean I already wished I could grow an afro before I saw and heard the "I Love My Hair" video...

No Pinched Cheeks Here.

I found this nugget for aunts, whether related or honorary, that is chock (I don't think I have ever typed that word in my life) full of great ways to win a My Aunt Rocks! mug. Savvy Auntie has a bit of everything, from learning about nutritional/physical/special needs etc to activity ideas, ways to spoil, to providing a place where you can find other aunties like you.

Beware: Booby Strap Ahead.

BLACKRAPID - RS-W1 - Basic Setup & Features from BLACKRAPID on Vimeo.

"the RS-W1 is the world's first camera strap that focuses on the perfect fit for the female"

Some curvature for your aperture. This genius design allows for the camera strap to rest where nature intended, right between the lady bumps. Then the feminist in me appreciates the fact that it is black/grey with only a little frou frou, and that they resisted making it pink or purple!
You can buy it here sometime this month for a er.. mere $59!
